Basketball is one of our latest sports and has proven to be a huge success in a short period of time. If you’re aged between 4-12 years, get involved with our Basketball camps and learn from our qualified and enthusiastic coaching panel.

Our programs cater for young children who have never played before right through to experienced junior Basketballer’s who have been playing at club level. We structure our program and make sure we have our coaches working with their specific age group and skill level to which they have worked with previously.

Whilst attending our Basketball programs children will learn all the essential skills like passing, shooting and dribbling. Along with the skills component of the camp we also make sure a large part of the day is match play. This is a great opportunity for children to get valuable match experience bringing out the competitive juices.

What You Need

Children should wear appropriate sporting apparel for the sport they are participating in. For example in the summer months shorts, t-shirt, runners and hat would be suitable. Children are encouraged to wear their favorite team jumpers or t-shirts as well.

We supply all equipment but also understand some children have their own and are more comfortable wearing it. Please have your name on all gear to avoid confusion at the camps.

Community Sports Camps provides morning and afternoon tea which consists of fruit and lollies throughout the two days.  We also have water accessible throughout the camp for children to stay hydrated.  It’s important for children to bring their own lunch and a water bottle.
